A little-known fact is that the RAF is the largest supplier of apprenticeships in the UK. 

For the past 15 years, Powerful Media Ltd has been working with African and African-Caribbean communities with the sole aim of providing them with information on career opportunities within a variety of organisations, including the RAF. We specialise in showcasing opportunities that are often ‘hidden’ from people of African and African-Caribbean heritage.

Open Day

On July 26th, in conjunction with the Royal Air Force, we will host an open day to give a limited number of young people an idea of the incredible career opportunities that are available in the RAF, which is regarded as the most elite division of the Armed Forces. 

If you attend the open day you will meet people like you – young, smart black men and women who have decided on an RAF career and are thriving. They will give you a real insight into what it’s like to be a member of this incredible organisation.

Our community on the whole does not tend to hear about the range of brilliant opportunities that exist in the RAF and we therefore miss out. We at Powerful Media now aim to redress this imbalance and help set you on a career that is like no other. You must be aged 18-25 years and hold GCSE C grade in Maths and English. Alternatively, you could be on the way to achieving these qualifications this year.
